We couldn’t wait to share the news with you! Today, as Decanter.com officially publishes DAWA results, we are finally able to do so: all five Empson wines we submitted to the inaugural edition of Decanter Asia Wine Awards were conferred medals: one silver, two bronze and two commendations.
You can see the exact list above. This international wine challenge, “a sister competition to the Decanter World Wine Awards” (cf. Decanter.com), was held in Hong Kong and “attracted 2,249 wines from 42 wine regions.
The wines were judged in Hong Kong in September by a team of Asia’s leading experts under the joint chairmanship of Steven Spurrier and Jeannie Cho Lee MW”.
